Master Your Mind
©2012 by Cheryl Taborsky
Spring is here, boys and girls, go out and play.
When the sun creeps down at the end of the day,
Go inside and unwind your mind.
Leave the TV off, forget your video game,
And unleash the lion inside your brain.
Read, write, draw.
Read, write, draw.
Master your mind; it’s one of a kind.

When the sun goes down, add a little magic to any room... Have dragonflies that zoom around your room and swirl overhead, or paw prints meandering across fields of darkness. Glow in the dark murals create boundaries to your child's room giving them a sense of security in the night. Children can't wait to go to bed with a magical transformation when the lights go out!

Cheryl Taborsky has illustrated over 50 cards for Marc Weiner's Empathy Labyrinth. The pictures on each card reflect the feeling or need indicated. These cards can be used separately or in conjuction with the Empathy Labyrinth, a kinesthetic tool for conflict resolution. Building your emotional vocabulary translates to a better understanding of oneself and others. Marc's Labyrinth has been created with the principles of Marshall Rosenberg's Non-Violent Communication Movement. Cheryl's artwork evokes the phrase "a picture's worth a thousand words." Perfect for teaching emotional literacy in the classroom or for revving up your childs understanding of feelings and needs at home, these cards will have everlasting results.
